INTRODUCTION  Plaintiff Robert J. (“Plaintiff”) moves for attorney’s fees in the amount of  $28,170.00 pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 406(b). (Dkt. 26). The Commissioner of Social  Security (“the Commissioner”) does not specifically object to the amount that Plaintiff  seeks. (Dkt. 27). On February 15, 2022, the Commissioner filed a supplemental response.  (Dkt. 28). Plaintiff filed a reply to the Commissioner’s supplemental response on February  16, 2021. (Dkt. 29). For the reasons discussed below, the Court grants Plaintiff’s motion.  BACKGROUND  On April 17, 2018, Plaintiff filed this action, seeking review of the Commissioner’s  final decision denying his application for Disability Insurance Benefits and Supplemental  Security Income. (Dkt. 1). Plaintiff moved for judgment on the pleadings on December  10, 2018. (Dkt. 10). The Commissioner submitted a response and cross motion for  judgment on the pleadings on March 29, 2019. (Dkt. 16). Plaintiff submitted a reply to  the Commissioner’s response and cross motion on April 19, 2019. (Dkt. 17). This matter  was assigned to the undersigned on July 10, 2019. (Dkt. 18).
